Cookies and similar technologies
Cookie Policy
This page explains how bugarpria.net uses cookie files and similar technologies, what they are for, and how you can control them in your own browser.
Definitions
What cookies are, in plain terms
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. On a later visit the site can read it back and recognise the same browser. A cookie can also hold a single setting for the length of one browsing session, so you do not have to choose the same option on every page you open.
Cookies do not run code on your device. They cannot open other files, read your local folders, or install anything. A site can only read back the cookie that site (or a service it uses) placed, and only through your own browser. The file is a short label, nothing more.
Related technologies
Local storage and similar browser features work in a comparable way: a small amount of information is kept on your device so a site can read it again later. Where this policy refers to cookies, it covers those technologies as well.
Site operation and analytics
The cookies we set ourselves
We keep the list short. A cookie is only placed where the site or the reader actually needs it, and each one falls into one of the groups below.
Preferences
Remembered during a visit
These keep a choice you made — which part of a comparison list you had open, whether you dismissed a notice at the top of a page — so it survives a page change instead of resetting.
Analytics
Read in aggregate only
Basic analytics tell us which pages of our coverage are opened and how visitors move between them — for example from a formula comparison into the ingredient notes. We use those numbers in aggregate to decide what to keep, shorten, or explain better.
Where a cookie is not needed for the site to work, it is used only in the way described on this page. Nothing here changes what you can read: the editorial pages, the formula comparisons and the ingredient notes stay open whether or not cookies are accepted.
Third parties
Services that set their own cookies
A few features on the site may rely on an outside service. When such a service is present, it can set its own cookie and read it back later. That handling is governed by the service's own policy rather than by this one, and we cannot switch those cookies off from our side.
What we limit
Where outside content appears on a page, it stays limited to what that page actually needs — a single view or embed, not a full tracking suite loaded across the whole site.
What you can do
Most browsers let you block third-party cookies on their own, separate from the cookies a site sets for itself. That setting is often the simplest way to keep outside services from storing anything.
Reading their terms
If you want to know exactly what a service stores, its own privacy and cookie documentation is the place to look. It will list the cookie names, the purpose, and how long each one lasts.
Your control
How to block, allow, or clear cookies
Your browser holds the switches. Nothing on this site overrides them, and you can change your mind at any time.
Block everything
Most browsers have a setting that refuses cookies from all sites. It is the blunt tool, and some pages will then forget your place whenever you move between them.
Third-party only
You can leave first-party cookies alone and still refuse the ones that outside services set. That keeps the site working while limiting what other companies store.
Clear on close
A setting in every current browser wipes stored cookies when you close the window, so each new visit starts from a clean slate. Useful on shared computers.
Just delete now
Every browser keeps a list of stored cookies under its privacy or history settings. Bringing the list up and clearing it takes a few seconds and does not affect your bookmarks or saved passwords.
If you switch cookies off, a few conveniences will reset each time you arrive, but the editorial content stays readable. Our coverage of natural supplements for men, the vitamins and minerals for men we look at, and the energy and endurance formulas we compare are all plain pages, not gated ones. Wording for each control tends to differ between browsers; you will find the exact names in your browser's own help pages.
Retention
How long a cookie stays on your device
Two lifespans
A single-visit cookie lives only until you close the browser. A preference or analytics cookie is given an end date when it is set, and after that date it expires on its own.
Ends when the browser closes
Nothing of the visit is kept on your device afterwards. Reopening the browser is the same as arriving for the first time.
Expires on its own set date
Preference and analytics cookies are given a limited period when they are set. Once it passes, the file is expired and your browser discards it without any action from you.
You can remove it any time
Waiting for an expiry date is optional. Clearing cookies in your browser's settings removes stored files immediately, and the next visit simply sets fresh ones where they are still needed.
What the policy protects on this site
Bugar Pria is an English-language editorial resource for men in Indonesia who read up on natural supplements for men, vitamins and minerals for men, and men's vitamin formulas before deciding what to keep on the shelf. The pages you are most likely to read — formula comparisons, ingredient notes, and the healthy lifestyle products we round up — do not sit behind a login, a paywall, or a cookie wall.
That is why we keep our own cookie list small. Whatever a preference or analytics cookie records here, it is used to understand which parts of the coverage are worth keeping and which need a clearer explanation, not to change what you are allowed to read. Nothing about the way these files work changes what is written on the page next to them.
Editorial coverage
Comparisons, ingredient notes and everyday product write-ups stay open to any reader, whether or not cookies are accepted.
